At the European and Oriental Languages Department, the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) has been operating since 2001, in accordance with which lecturers of the DAAD conduct teaching activities at the department:

2015- 2017 - lecturer of DAAD Stefan Kehl;

2012- 2015 - lecturer DAAD, Doctor of Philosophy, Katarina Buck;

2009-2012 - lecturer of the DAAD Thomas Spiker.

The Faculty of Foreign Languages implements the agreement on cooperation between the KSU of E.A. Buketov and the University ofShihezi (PRC), according to which an academic exchange of students and teachers has been implemented since 2013. Annually students of educational programs 5В011900 - "Foreign language: two foreign languages", 5В021000 - "Foreign philology" study Chinese as the main and second foreign language in theShihizi University.

In November 2014, the faculty organized guest lectures by professor Alexander Kiklewicz, professor of the University of Warmia-Mazury (Poland), on the topics "Anthropological Linguistics: Postulates, problems and perspectives" and "Cognitive Linguistics" for theteachers of the faculty.

Doctor of Philology, Professor Bakhtikreeva U.M. held guest lectures on the topic "Language, culture, translation at the present stage of the development of science", organized by the scientific and educational center of polyilingism and translation of the RUDN university (Russia) (November 2014).

The faculty works closely with the Tambov State Technical University (Tambov, Russia), and the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University (Novosibirsk, Russia). Students of the faculty are trained annually in the National Pedagogical University within the framework of the academic mobility program.

The annual pedagogical practice of students of the National Pedagogical University is organized within the framework of the academic mobility program in basic (English) language and in the second foreign language (French and German languages) (Novosibirsk, Russia).

Within the framework of the implementation of the agreement on cooperation with the National Pedagogical University (Russia), an annual international competition of scientific works of students, undergraduates and doctoral students on the problems of linguistics and linguodidactics is held annually

From September 2019 Dr. Valerie Sartor has joined the faculty of KSU as a visiting Fulbright Scholar for the 2019-2020 academic year. She is trained as a sociolinguist with a second speciality in TESOL. She teaches English language courses with an emphasis on developing critical thinking skills. She also conducts seminars on IELTS test preparation, Grant and Proposal Writing, and Academic Writing. Dr. Sartor is SIOP certified (bilingual protocol); she also has worked extensively as a language teacher trainer, advocating both American (TESOL) and British (CELTA, DELTA) methodologies.
